About Nezer Belen
Born and raised in the Philippines, Nezer recently retired as Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman after 20 years of service. He has worked in various capacities during his tenure with Navy Medicine to include inpatient and outpatient setting, administration, training, leadership and field medic in support of operations on war and terrorism in Iraq. Nezer completed Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Science in Nursing from National University. As a Nurse Practitioner, he is licensed in the State of California and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He currently holds certifications in combat casualty care, trauma nursing, pediatric and advanced cardiac life support. When not working, Nezer spends time with his 4 children and wife exploring and traveling places. He is an avid runner and runs the Rock ‘n Roll Marathon San Diego annually. Nezer feels very fortunate to be entrusted with the care and have the opportunity to serve the people of San Diego.
