Dr. Ikram received her medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. During training, she found a passion for preventive medicine and a strong commitment to caring for underserved communities.
She continued her journey with a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Chicago – NorthShore, where she developed special expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, including cardiac CT, structural echocardiography, and nuclear stress testing.
Alongside her clinical training, Dr. Ikram has been involved in research focused on prevention, lifestyle medicine, and heart health. She is especially interested in how lifestyle choices can be applied in cardiology to improve long-term outcomes for patients.
As a young cardiologist, Dr. Ikram is excited to bring her skills and passion to patient care. She looks forward to joining the team, building meaningful relationships, and helping patients take charge of their heart health.
