Dr. Rutledge is a gifted interventional and general cardiologist who grew up in Austin, Texas. Dr. Rutledge received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Southwestern University. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 2007, where he also completed his internal medicine internship and residency. He attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to complete his cardiology fellowship where he was also chief fellow. Dr. Rutledge completed his interventional cardiology fellowship from Providence St. John Hospital in Southfield, MI. Outside of work, Dr. Rutledge avidly exercises, and enjoys traveling to different places to experience live music and music festivals.
