We Are Open And Ready To Take Care Of You
At the Cardiovascular Institute of San Diego, the health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. Our office will follow the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), our state, and local officials during this time, and remain operational as long as it is safe to do so.
We look forward to seeing you at your existing appointments for office visits and diagnostic testing. There will always be staff in each office location M-F (8:00 am -5:00 pm) and after-hours via the answering service without change from our typical operations. We want to ensure we are taking care of your cardiovascular needs.
We are aware that there is an increased level of uncertainty when it comes to travel and public spaces; we want you to know we are taking every precaution possible to keep our office clean and safe for everyone. If you have a fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath, please call and reschedule your appointment.
We will look forward to seeing you when you are well and will refill cardiac medications until we can see you in the office again. The following are the extra precautions we are taking during this time to ensure your safety:
- Our office and equipment are cleaned and sanitized daily as part of our normal routine. We use hospital-grade disinfectant to regularly clean our equipment, patient beds, and seating. A deep clean with this disinfectant is done several times a day throughout the whole office including treatment rooms, the restrooms, our front desk, lobby seating areas, and all doorknobs.
- In light of COVID-19, we are increasing the frequency and extent of daily cleanings, and taking steps to make sure we have the appropriate supplies available to do so.
- We have hand sanitizer in place throughout the office (also part of our normal operations), and we clean our hands in between each patient.
- As recommended by local officials and the CDC, we are enforcing our staff to follow appropriate preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including staying home if they are feeling ill or believe they may be at risk.
At the Cardiovascular Institute of San Diego, we work hard every day to provide you with excellent cardiovascular care in a safe environment. We will keep you updated if recommendations change. Thank you for your support during this time!
